Community Guidelines
We at Suno Sunao Audio Technologies Private Limited (hereinafter “SunoSunao”,“We”, or the “App” or “Platform”) aim to create a safe and respectful community for our users. In order to do so, we expect the users (“you”) to observe the following guidelines related to your use of the App or the Platform. Please take the time to carefully read through this information. If you do not wish to adhere to the following guidelines, your only recourse shall be to discontinue your use of the app. Your use of the app and any related services shall be deemed to be your acceptance of the following terms.
I. You agree that you will not post any User Content that falls into any of the following categories:
commercial communications (including, but not limited to, spam, multi-level marketing schemes, or unauthorised advertising);
viruses or other malicious, harmful, troublesome, or nuisance code that interferes with another user's ability to use the Services;
solicitation of other users' login information or account access;
content that is abusive, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, intimidating, harassing, fraudulent, misleading, illegal, or violent;
content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent (including, but not limited to, pornography), paedophilic, invasive of another‘s privacy, including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise inconsistent with or contrary to the laws in force;
content that is harmful to child;
content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
belongs to another person and to which the user does not have any right;
content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting other Nations;
content that could disable, overburden, or impair the proper working or appearance of the Services or other third-party services, such as a denial of service, attack or interference with page rendering or streaming or other functionality;
content that facilitates or encourages violation of this Agreement or SunoSunao's other terms/policies;
content that impersonates another person (including a recording artist, record label, or music/content publisher) or is designed to deceive others about the source of the information;
content that is associated with attempts to decipher, decompile, or reverse engineer any of the software used to provide the Services or to tamper a technological protection measure (TPM);
content that encourage or enables any other individual to do any of the foregoing; or
content that is, encourages, or makes up part of anything that is, otherwise unlawful (collectively, the "Prohibited Content").
II. Copyright Guidelines
We have set out to build a diverse, collaborative community where the rights of creators and artists are protected and respected.
You are responsible for all activity associated with your account, including but not limited to all content that you post. The content that you post shall be referred to as ‘user-generated content’ and it is your responsibility to ensure that such content is original or that you have the rights to post it. If you post content that belongs to someone else, or if you use someone else’s content in a remix or other similar work, you represent that you have the permission of all relevant rights holders in order to post such content to the App/Platform. Anyone uploading another person’s content without authorisation is liable to have that content removed and/or their account terminated as well as legal proceedings initiated against them.
If you feel that someone is infringing your copyright, please ‘flag’ the infringing material on the Suno Sunao app. If you are unable to flag the material, then you may reach out to us through our contact details on our website, sunosunao.app.
When reporting content for infringement, we consider reports abusive if you are not the rights holder or an authorized agent thereof (like the rights holder’s attorney or manager). Abusive reporting may result in your civil liability for damages incurred by Suno Sunao (including costs and legal fees), the person whose content you report, or any copyright owner or authorized licensee as a result of content being removed. Additionally, you risk having your account frozen and/or terminated in case of abusively reported content.
III. Reporting Violations
We aim to create and foster a community where our users’ behavior is in line with these guidelines. However, as a general rule we are unable to pre-screen or proactively search for multitude of contents posted. In such circumstances as a responsible social media intermediary and online service provider, SunoSunao will be able to remove reported content only on receiving actual knowledge of allegedly unauthorised use in consonance with the Terms of Service of the app. You shall solely be responsible and liable for any post that you upload on SunoSunao app, we shall not be held liable for any action or omission of our users. However, We encourage you to be vigilant and report any user if you find them in violation of the Community Guidelines, or the Terms of Use or any applicable laws through the report/flag feature inside the app.
If you receive a Private Message or comment you think is inappropriate you can flag and Report such user for violation of the Community Guidelines by above mentioned method.
If you see a community post you think is inappropriate you can flag and then Report such Inappropriate Content by using the flag/report feature within the app.
IV. Termination of Accounts
Posting of any material that SunoSunao deems, in its sole discretion, to be Prohibited and/or Objectionable Contents elaborated in the Terms of Use, may result in its immediate removal and immediate suspension, termination, or permanent deletion of your user account and User Content.
SunoSunao shall not be responsible for any loss of personal data resulting from termination or permanent deletion of your account. If you have posted Prohibited and/or Objectionable Content more than twice, you will be deemed a repeat offender, and SunoSunao may, in its sole discretion, permanently block your access to the Services.
